Steps to stop counting when Issue Resolved instead of Issue Closed

Hi Support,

We would like to change the existing SLA Agreement Type in JIRA to stop counting time when Issue Resolved instead of Issue Closed.

Based on our understanding we can edit the existing Agreement Type, change Stop events from Issue Closed to Issue Resolved. However we have few things need to be clear before making this change.

1) Is there any best way have to change it? or any other places need to be changed apart from above?
2) Is it possible to create morethan one agreement types using the same SLA custom field?
3) Will SLA is applicable even on historical open issues?
4) Will SLA times to be adjusted on historical closed issues?
